干支版画 2024 辰年 Print of Dragon
I made the print for a New Year’s card for the year 2024.
In the Japanese Zodiac, there are twelve animal signs used as symbols for each year and 2024 is the year of the Dragon . It’s very common to exchange New Year’s cards in Japan, and traditionally the design of the cards is based on the animal sign of the year, so I made this print of the dragon emerging from the clouds for New Year’s card 2024.
因為2024年是龍年、所以我畫了一條從雲中出現的龍的版畫。
2024年は辰年ということで、雲間から現れた龍を版画にしました。昨年は移住した新しい土地にも馴染んできて、だんだんと楽しくなってきました。今年はもっと自由に、もっと楽しく、自分の出来ること、やりたいことを進めて行きたいです！
