干支版画 2023 卯年 Print of Rabbit
2023年新年快樂！今年是兎年。希望大家都有像兔子一樣的飛躍的一年！
I made the print for a New Year’s card for the year 2023.
In the Japanese Zodiac, there are twelve animal signs used as symbols for each year and 2023 is the year of the Rabbit . It’s very common to exchange New Year’s cards in Japan, and traditionally the design of the cards is based on the animal sign of the year, so I made this print for New Year’s card 2023. Hope you all can jump into the next stage like a rabbit!
卯年年賀状用の干支版画を彫りました。2023年は卯年ということで、ウサギのようにピョーンと飛躍できる年になりますように！
今回の版画は干支のウサギと昨年11月にあった皆既月食＋天王星食を表現しました。（私が皆既月食を観測したのは南半球だったので、月の欠ける方向が北半球で観察されたのとは違って見えました。）ウサギの左右にある植物はニュージーランドでよく見かける植物で、昨年の私の大きな出来事であったニュージーランド移住を象徴するデザインにしました。
昨年は仕事もプライベートも大きな転機を迎え、緊張と焦りを乗り越えながらの一年でした。今は新天地でまっさらな状態。今年は新しい人脈を広げ、これからの自分の生き方を探って行きたいと思います。
