風景画「北アルプスと桜」 Landscape of Japan Alps and Cherry Blossoms
長野県松本市の桜の名所、弘法山古墳。
桜の木に覆われたこんもりとした小高い丘（3世紀末に造られた前方後方墳）が、一面ピンク色に染まる姿は遠くからでも目を引きますが、弘法山古墳の上に立って眺める景色はまた格別です。まだ白い雪をかぶった青い北アルプスの山々をバックに眼下に広がる松本の市街地といっぱいの桜！
私の一番好きなお花見スポットで、一人でも、友達とも何度も訪れています^^
そんな松本を代表する景色を、松本を離れゆく友達のリクエストに応えて描きました。
There are a lot of places where are completely covered with cherry blossoms in Japan, and Japanese people love to see them and have a party under the blossoms.
My favorite place to see cherry blossoms is Koboyama in Matsumoto, Nagano. Koboyama is a hill (actually an ancient tomb!) covered with cherry trees. You can recognize it even from a distance as the pink colored hill in flowering season, but I highly recommend to go to the top of the hill! You can see amazing view of cherry blossoms with the background of beautiful blue mountains covered with white snow!! I have visited there many times no matter I was solo or with friends.
I painted such an iconic place in Matsumoto for my friend who was leaving this lovely town.
