風景画ミルフォード・トラック Painting of Milford Track
I painted impressions of the Milford track where I walked in 2022. The track starts with a beautiful forest adorned with lichens, and then it goes through between cliffs that have a lot of waterfalls. Mackinnon Pass is the highest part of the track and it was impressive to see peaks around close from here. I was so lucky to be there in good weather as this area has a lot of rain!（I had rain on the final day of the hike though. It was still lucky that rain was only on final day because I had already passed most of the scenic parts and got wet a lot with the rain, which would be difficult to cope if it happened in the middle of the hike.）
This painting can be purchased at the restaurant “Star and Garter” which has delicious kiwiana food!

2022年に歩いたミルフォード・トラックの印象を一枚の絵にしました。ミルフォード・トラックは地衣の生える美しい森から始まり、いくつもの滝が流れ落ちる谷を通り抜けて進みます。最高地点のマッキノン・パスから間近に見る周囲の山の頂は感動的でした。この地域は雨が多いので、お天気に恵まれてラッキーでした。（トレッキングの最終日は雨に降られましたが…）
この絵はニュージーランドのレストラン「スター&ガーター」で展示販売中（2025-1-11追記 売約済み）ですが、ミルフォード・トラックの旅日記の本は日本で販売中です。
