Pottery patch 壁画・看板　Logo / Sign painting

Pottery patch is a new pottery painting shop in Oamaru, New Zealand. I painted their logo on the wall in the shop and a coffee/tea sign to be put outside. As both of the paintings are representative of their business, I was very honoured to paint it.

This shop is run by a lovely family. l love their friendly and welcoming vibe! You can paint on all sorts of pottery like mugs, plates, cars, little penguins, etc… After you paint it, they fire it and you will get your original pottery that is the only one in the world!! Not only kids, all adults who love creative stuff can enjoy this place. They also have cafe menus (coffee, various kinds of tea, sweets) and some goods, so even if you don’t paint, pop in and have a look 😉

ニュージーランド南島の町オアマルに新しくできたポタリーパッチというお店で、店内の壁のロゴと外に置く用のコーヒー・ティー看板を描かせていただきました。どちらもお店の象徴となるものなので描かせていただけて光栄でした！

ポタリーパッチは陶器の絵付け体験ができるお店で、お皿やマグカップの他、ペンギン（オアマルは野生のペンギンの生息地として有名！）やキャラバン（＝キャンピングトレーラー。キャンピングカーをよく見かけるニュージーランドでは普通車で牽引するキャラバンも一般的）などユニークな形の小物にも絵付けができます。コーヒー、種類豊富なお茶、お菓子などのカフェメニューや雑貨販売もあるので、お気軽にお立ち寄りください ^^
