Travel Sketches in Switzerland スイス旅スケッチ
I traveled Italy, Switzerland, France and the Netherlands to eat good cheese in 2014.
2014年に（美味しいチーズを食べるため）イタリア→スイス→フランス→オランダを旅しました。
The Alps around Switzerland was incredibly beautiful! I was amazed by stunning view from a train bound for Switzerland.
スイスはアルプスの山々がとても綺麗！イタリアからスイスへ渡る電車の車窓からも美しい景色が見られて感動でした。
Travel diary on the train to Switzerland
The first destination in Switzerland was Gruyères where is the birthplace of Gruyères cheese. A country road that I sketched was quiet and there were only 3 pedestrians while I was drawing the picture for couple of hours, and a boy who said “bonjour!” to me began to sing after he passed by. Such a pleasant road to sing!
スイスでまず向かったのはグリュイエールチーズの発祥の地「グリュイエール」。その道中でもスケッチ。ほとんど車しか通らない田舎道で、歩く人は絵を描いていた約2時間で3人。「ボンジュール！」と挨拶してくれた男の子は私の横を通り過ぎた後は歌いながら歩いて行った。この道だったら歌うよね～♪
La Maison du Gruyères that is cheese factory you can tour was just next to Gruyères station and I gladly visited there!
ちなみにグリュイエール駅のすぐ目の前にはチーズ実演製造所があり、喜んで見学しに行きました♪

On the other hand, I enjoyed watching people as well.
一方、スイス首都のベルンでは、様々な人間観察を楽しみました。
I drew chatting girls sitting on the backrest of a bench.
ベンチの背もたれに腰掛けておしゃべりする女子をスケッチ。
It was also interesting to see that middle aged men enjoyed playing big chess in the street.
路上でチェスを楽しむおじさん達も 🙂
